Key Features of the 16×50 Custom Cabin:

  • Welcoming Outdoor Spaces: A 4×8 enclosed entry porch with a wood screen door greets you at the front, offering a cozy transition into the home. At the back, a spacious 8×20 covered porch provides ample room for outdoor relaxation, dining, or entertaining.
  • Attractive Exterior: Log siding with Cedar Natural Tone stain gives the cabin a classic, rustic appearance. The Forest Green metal roof not only adds style but also provides long-lasting protection against the elements.
  • Smart Flooring Choices: The main living area features durable LVT clip-n-lock flooring in Biscayne Oak, combining the look of wood with easy maintenance. In the loft, sturdy 2×6 Fir tongue & groove boards add warmth and character.
  • Well-Designed Kitchen: Hickory cabinets extend to the ceiling, maximizing storage space. A peninsula and pantry offer extra functionality for food prep and storage. The Cambria Quartz countertop and brown granite sink elevate the kitchen’s look and feel.
  • Clever Interior Design: Space-saving barn doors for bedrooms and pocket doors for the bathroom enhance the cabin’s efficient layout. Shadow Brown stained trim throughout creates a cohesive, polished look.
  • Comfort Features: Light Almond heating keeps the cabin cozy in cooler weather, while two ceiling fans improve air circulation year-round. A striking Tan Fieldstone hearth, walls, and mantle create an eye-catching fireplace area, perfect for gathering on chilly evenings.

The owners initially had this cabin built as a temporary home while working on a larger house project nearby. Their plan to later use it as a rental property demonstrates the versatility of our cabins. Whether serving as a full-time residence, a temporary living space, or a vacation rental, our cabins adapt to changing needs while maintaining their charm and functionality.
